02-01 Daddy's Girl Daddy's Girl
Like all little girls I dreamt when I was five, of marrying a man who had my daddy's eyes.
Of knowing he would love me and keep me safe from harm, who had his sense of humor and almost all his charm.
And so for all your worry and all your loving care, the woman I've become holds you very dear.
No one can replace you in this whole wide world and after I am married I'll still be daddy's girl.

02-02 For My Dad For My Dad
All daughters learn life's lessons from their dads when they are small, of all the things you taught me I love these most of all.
You taught me I could smile but showed me I was smart, you encouraged me to think while my smile filled your heart.
There were moments when I knew your eyes were filled with pride, not always that I won but that you knew how hard I tried.
As you take my arm in yours to walk me down the aisle, I know I'll see that pride and your eyes will see that smile.
Dad I want to thank you for always being there, but most of all I thank you for the lessons you still share.
I love you Dad. ©1999
02-03 To My Dad from your daughter To My Dad From Your Daughter
I realize as I marry, what it takes to be a wife. It takes the things you taught to me, all throughout my life.
It’s believing in another’s dream, until it has come true. Cheering in the background, “I am so proud of you!”
It’s having your convictions, and admitting when your wrong. It’s showing you have weaknesses, but knowing that you’re strong.
And so the day they say to us, “We pronounce you man and wife”, I’ll strive to be just like you, the one who gave me life.
Thank you Dad for Everything.

02-04 My Promise to her Father My Promise to her Father
Years I had been searching for someone in my life, who would share in all my dreams and someday be my wife.
I knew that she was out there but not quite sure just where, I'm so thankful now to know she'd been gently in your care.
I will always be so grateful that she was raised to be, so loving and so gentle the woman made for me.
From the day we marry and as she takes my hand, this promise I will give you as she wears her wedding band.
I will always love her dearly and treat her with great care, I'm so grateful that I've found her and a love that is so rare.
Thank You For Raising a Wonderful Daughter

02-05 Thank you...a wonderful Dad Thank you for being a wonderful Dad
Butterfly kisses, afternoons at the park, calling me home before it was dark.
Holding your hand when crossing the street, making sure I was buckled in the car seat.
Although I was young I did pay attention, to the ways that you cared too many to mention.
As I grew older you gave me my space and yet you were there any time, any place.
Through triumph or heart ache, boys, grades or friends, it was you that I needed and could always depend.
Thank you Dad for Everything
I Love You

02-06 Thank you Dad...Special Day Thank you Dad for my Special Day
After the wedding when our loved ones have gone, and the fragrance of flowers has lingered til dawn.
When the last piece of cake at the table is cut, the lights have all dimmed and the doors have been shut.
When everything is quiet our memories made, and each flower petal is starting to fade.
It's then in that moment my thoughts will be free, to think of how special you've made this for me.
After the wedding and all the years through, this day will be special because of you.
Thank You Dad for Everything

02-07 For Her Father (from Groom) For Her Father
To marry your daughter is the dream of my life, I am so proud that she'll be my wife. You've been her mentor for all of these years, there for her always through laughter and fears.
You knew when to guide her and when to let go, the latter the hardest as most parents know.
Because of your caring she grew up to be, the love of my life a blessing to me.
My heart is so grateful for all that you've done, your not losing a daughter your gaining a son.
With Love, Respect & Gratitude.

02-08 The First Man I ever Loved The First Man I Ever Loved
The first man I ever loved stood tall above my head, he read me bed time stories then he'd tuck me into bed.
He’d listen to my prayers, scare the bogeyman away, he’d leave the hallway light on until the break of day.
We’d always laugh and giggle when I danced upon his feet, he’d twirl me in a circle to make the dance complete.
He taught me about courage and not to compromise, the first man I ever loved is very brave & very wise.
Now I will be married a new life I am to start, but forever will my first love remain within my heart.

02-09 Dear Dad Dear Dad,
I want you to know how much your love and support has meant to me. I know that I am who I am today because of the love you have given me and the confidence that you have always instilled. I knew you were there for me no matter what but I also knew that you believed in me, for that I will be forever grateful. I realize that not everyone has a father like you and I want you to know that I don't take that for granted. I will take the guidance that you have shared with me and make it a part of my life when I marry. I could not have had a better teacher.
Thank you Dad for Everything I Love You

02-10 In Memory of Mom In Memory of Mom
Although we may not see her, Dad, we both know that Mom’s here. We carry her within our hearts and feel her presence near.
I know she will be happy to see my wedding day, she knows I’ve found a love like yours and that I’ll be okay.
I know that as she watches my wedding from above, you’ll both recall the day you wed and knew you’d found true love.
And now I want to thank you both for all you've given me, and I'll cherish every day I've had and those still meant to be.
I Love You

02-11 My Life, My Love, My Happiness My Life, My Love, My Happiness
In all the moments of my life your presence always there, a place of shelter from the storm or laughter, love and care.
At times I thought I’d lost my way but you would let me know, that you believed in who I am, with this my strength would grow.
I may have been quite blind with the ignorance of youth, to understand all you gave but now I know the truth.
Because of this and so much more I will dedicate to you, my life, my love, my happiness the day I say "I do".
I Love You Dad With All My Heart ~ Thank You!

02-12 Dad ~ "I Understand" Dad ~ "I Understand"
You may not think I realize the sacrifice you’ve made, to give your life, your love and care, no higher price is paid.
It is the reason I’ve become the woman that I am, hold this hankie on the day I wed and know “I understand”.
I know we’ll both be feeling a little sadness filled with joy, but Dad please remember, this is not goodbye.
This is what you've dreamed for me since I was very small, by showing me how to love I could have it all.
So let me take this moment to let you know it's true, I really do have it all because my Dad is you!
Thank You Dad ~ I Love You!
