01-01 My Promise (from groom)
My Promise to Her Mother

Years I had been searching for someone in my life,
who would share in all my dreams and someday be my wife.

I knew that she was out there but not quite sure just where,
I'm so thankful now to know she'd been gently in your care.

I will always be so grateful that she was raised to be,
so loving and so gentle, the woman made for me.

On the day we marry hold this hankie in your hand,
a symbol of my promise as she wears her wedding band.

I will always love her dearly and treat her with great care,
I'm so grateful that I've found her and a love that is so rare.

Thank you for raising a wonderful Daughter

01-02 Mom (version1)
Mom,

Long ago when I was small and everything was new,
I hoped and dreamed when I grew up that I'd be just like you.

Through the years you've helped me grow with love and strength to spare,
your guidance means so much to me that nothing could compare.

As you hold this hankie while I’m walking down the aisle,
my eyes will meet with yours and we’ll share a knowing smile.

For we both know my life will change on this my wedding day,
and all you’ve shared and taught to me will help me find my way.

Thank you Mom for Everything

01-03 Mom (version 2) (last stanza)

For though in some ways different, in some we are the same,
the part of me that’s just like you will help me find my way.

Thank you Mom for Everything.

01-04 For My Mother
For My Mother

Well here it is, the day has come, this man and I will unite as one.

No longer mother's little girl but a woman in lace, satin and pearls.

I'll give you a hankie for this day to wipe your tears of joy away.

I've always known dreams do come true, and this I know I learned from you.

Thank you mom for all you've done, my life with him has just begun.

I Love You

01-05 To My Mom from your Daughter
To My Mom From Your Daughter

I realize as I marry what it takes to be a wife,
it takes the things you taught to me all throughout my life.

It’s believing in another’s dream until it has come true,
cheering in the background, “I am so proud of you!”

It’s having your convictions and admitting when you're wrong,
it’s showing you have weaknesses but knowing that you’re strong.

And so the day they say to us, “We pronounce you man and wife,”
I’ll strive to be just like you, the one who gave me life.

Thank You Mom For Everything.

01-06 Her Mother (Friend to Brds. mom)
Her Mother

Dear friend of mine your work is done,
so proud of the woman she has become.

The love you will feel as she walks down the aisle,
will bring a tear to your eye and a knowing smile.

I'm sure you will feel with a mother's pride,
that she's never been lovelier than the day she's a bride.

With you as her mother it's really quite clear,
her loveliness has come from you my dear.

Much Love to You on this Special Day.

01-07 Thankyou...a wonderful Mom
Thank you for being a Wonderful Mom

Butterfly kisses, afternoons at the park,
calling me home before it was dark.

Holding your hand when crossing the street,
making sure I was buckled in the car seat.

Although I was young, I did pay attention,
to the ways that you cared, too many to mention.

As I grew older, you gave me my space
and yet you were there, any time, any place.

You're the one that I've turned to again and again,
and I'll still need you now as I needed you then.

Thank you Mom for Everything. I Love You.

01-08 Thank you Mom...Special Day
Thank you Mom for my Special Day

After the wedding when our loved ones have gone,
and the fragrance of flowers has lingered til dawn.

When the last piece of cake at the table is cut,
the lights have all dimmed and the doors have been shut.

When everything is quiet our memories made,
and each flower petal is starting to fade.

It's then in that moment my thoughts will be free,
to think of how special you've made this for me.

After the wedding and all the years through,
this day will be special because of you.

Thank You Mom for Everything.

01-09 Mom (letter 1)
Dear Mom,

How lucky can one girl be? I am so
happy and excited about the wedding
and my new life with this wonderful man.

I know how fortunate I am and that it has
been your love and support that has nurtured
and guided me to this point in my life.

There are no words to express my gratitude for
the life you have given me, the sacrifices that
you have lovingly made and the example that
you have shown.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for
being my mom and my best friend. Soon I will be
married but I will always be your little girl.

With all my love... Now & Forever

01-10 Mom (letter 2)
Dear Mom,
My wedding day will be filled with
wonderful moments and magical memories.
All of our loved ones will be there to share
our joy and celebrate this happy day.

So before my wedding, I wanted to take the
time to acknowledge all you have done for me.

Not only for helping me create such a
beautiful and memorable wedding day but
for all you have done for me throughout my life.

I am grateful that you are my mom and I appreciate
and love you more than you will ever know.

Thank you Mom for Everything.
All my love,
Your Daughter

01-11 Dear Mom & Dad
Dear Mom & Dad,

It wasn't until I fell in love that I could fully understand
what your love and sacrifices have meant to me throughout my life.

I am so grateful for the foundation that you have provided me as I
enter into marriage with the man that I love.

Because of you I am prepared to love, honor & cherish my husband.
Not only through the good times but also through any of life's challenges.

From the day that I marry I will try to emulate the love that you
share... through love, laughter, forgiveness and family.

With Love, Gratitude & Joy.

01-12 Mom My Guiding Star
Mom,

You have been my guiding star shining from above,
lighting every path I took with a mother’s love.

Funny how I see it now, the light you’ve always shown.
I see it for the gift it’s been now that I am grown.

Every sacrifice you’ve given, every time you chose to praise,
you were laying a foundation for my life in many ways.

You made it seem so easy and what I should expect,
I now know that I owe you all my love and my respect.

Again your light is shining on this new path of my life,
I thank you Mom for all you’ve done as I become his wife.

With All My Love & Gratitude

Dear Mom & Dad,

You have been my guiding stars shining from above,
lighting every path I took with a parent's love.

Funny how I see it now, the light you’ve always shown.
I see it for the gift it’s been now that I am grown.

Every sacrifice you’ve given, every time you chose to praise,
you were laying a foundation for my life in many ways.

I thank you both for all you’ve done as I become his wife.

01-13 For Her Mother (from Groom)
For Her Mother

To marry your daughter is the dream of my life,
I am so proud that she'll be my wife.

You've been her mentor for all of these years,
there for her always through laughter and fears.

You knew when to guide her and when to let go,
the latter the hardest as most parents know.

Because of your caring she grew up to be,
the love of my life a blessing to me.

My heart is so grateful for all that you've done,
you're not losing a daughter you're gaining a son.

With Love, Respect & Gratitude.

01-16 In Memory of Dad
In Memory of Dad

Although we may not see him, Mom, we both know that Dad's here,
we carry him within our hearts and feel his presence near.

I know he will be happy to see my wedding day,
he knows I’ve found a love like yours and that I’ll be okay.

I know that as he watches my wedding from above,
you’ll both recall the day you wed, and knew you’d found true love.

And now I want to thank you both for all you've given me,
and I'll cherish every day I've had and those still meant to be.

I Love You.

01-17 My Life My Love, My Happiness
My Life, My Love, My Happiness

In all the moments of my life your presence always there,
a place of shelter from the storm or laughter, love and care.

At times I thought I’d lost my way but you would let me know,
that you believed in who I am, with this my strength would grow.

I may have been quite blind with the ignorance of youth,
to understand all you gave but now I know the truth.

Because of this and so much more, I will dedicate to you,
my life, my love, my happiness the day I say "I do".

I Love You Mom With All My Heart ~ Thank You!

01-18 Mom ~ "I Understand"
Mom ~ "I Understand"

You may not think I realize the sacrifice you’ve made,
to give your life, your love and care, no higher price is paid.

It is the reason I’ve become the woman that I am,
hold this hankie on the day I wed and know “I understand”.

I know we’ll both be feeling a little sadness filled with joy,
but please remember Mom, this is not goodbye.

This is what you've dreamed for me since I was very small,
by showing me how to love, I could have it all.

So let me take this moment to let you know it's true,
I really do have it all, because my Mom, is you!

Thank You Mom ~ I Love You!

01-19 Your Daughter ~ My Son
Your Daughter ~ My Son

From one mother to another, only you'll understand,
these emotions we share as my son takes her hand.

The day that we watch her walk down the aisle,
to the man that she loves will be life's shortest mile.

How grateful my heart that in all of the world,
he's found his true love, your little girl.

As mothers we taught them to give from the heart,
they'll share all they learned in this life they will start.

Our families united as two hearts entwine,
it began with the love in your heart and mine.

Thank you for raising a wonderful daughter
